On this day, we took some time to refresh on focused note taking. As a whole, the boys' focused notes have been mediocre. Instead of blaming them, it was safer to assume it was because they didn't know better. Hopefully the lesson helped!

On this day, we prepared for binder checks and continued the work on our letters from 10/16/18.
10/16/18
On this day, we wrote letters to HL Precision Manufacturing and Dr. Pamela Smoot, a guest speaker from SIUC, thanking them for their time as it relates to our field trip to HL Precision Manufacturing and Dr. Smoot coming to speak to us.

10/11/18
This day was full of activity! We took a field trip to HL Precision Manufacturing in Champaign, IL. Many of the guys were interested in the presentation. When we returned, we were graced with the presence of Dr. Pamela Smoot, history professor in the SIUC College of Liberal Arts.
10/10/18
This day was a tutorial day. The boys really perform well on these days! They go about their business like scholars during tutorials.
10/9/18
On this day, we took time for planner fill-in, as well as continued our goals vs. wishes group project.
10/2/18
On this day, we took time to fill in our planners, as well as began a lesson on goals vs. wishes. The boys have began a group project where they have to come up with a way to teach someone the difference between a goal and a wish.

On this day, we prepared for Friday's binder checks. We planned on having somewhat of a celebration because Wednesday's tutorials were a success; however, the focus note turn in was mediocre, so the celebration was postponed.
